Tip Top & Winns Drive In

The
Tip Top Drive -In started out as the Tip Top Barbeque on Washington
Street East near the bridge. It became so popular that
Charlie Winn decided to build a new place with more room, about where
the Charleston Moose Lodge is today in 1941. He later added a
canopy for cars, and a Motel. Part of this was sold to the
Wilans (Rock Lake Pool) about 20 years later.
