CHARLESTON AREA SCHOOLS HISTORY

 

If you went to school in the Charleston area before 1980 or so, your school is either gone, or being used for a different purpose than when you attended.  As of this writing,  the remaining few old schools are about to close forever.... Now for the history of these old schools....

As a side note:  I had always wondered why Charleston didnt have Kindergarten, as I attended one out of state. Turns out they did at one time.....
