of this website as a supplement to another photo. I think it
important enough to stand alone here. This photo was taken around
1940, and you can see a Dodge Dealership on the right, and Lamberts
Auto Parts store on the left. In the center where the dirt is
built up, the car wash (still there) would soon appear. Also
seen is Young's Grocery. That building too is still there in the form
of a telecommunications company. |
