THE DESTRUCTION OF THE KANAWHA CITY BRIDGE

The Kanawha City Bridge was very old when it was destroyed.  Very scary to cross too...

It was built by the Kanawha City Land Company in order to sell land in Kanawha City.

My mother and I crossed the bridge many times, as she worked at Memorial Hospital and I went with her to pick up her paycheck.  The bridge was very narrow and lots of wrecks occurred on the bridge over the years.
