Levi School

LEVI GRADE SCHOOL (Negro) was located in West Rand WV. This area was called "Levi" at the time.
Built in 1910, this school had 36 kids. There were two Levi schools,  and the map below is the first one:




This old school building apparently is still standing according to Google Maps.

Livingston School

LIVINGSTON SCHOOL, was located up Paint Creek at Livingston WV.

London Grade School



The London Grade School was located on Rt 60 in London WV.

Low Gap School

Low Gap School was up Hughes Creek.  That community like most of them is long gone.

Lower Mill Creek School

Lower Mill Creek Grade School on where else... lower Mill Creek just off 114.
Mill Creek isn't too far north of the MeadowBrook Nursing Home.  Built in 1910, and housed 39 kids

Lowland School

LOWLAND GRADE SCHOOL was located at the bottom of Big Tyler Road on the
Cross Lanes Side. Built in 1920, it supported an average of 39 kids.

Maplelawn - Dry Branch School

DRY BRANCH-MAPLELAWN SCHOOL was built in 1938 on Dry Branch of Davis Creek.  In 1960, additions were made and the school name changed from "Dry Branch School" to "Maplelawn School." You can still see the old school today, by going to Blizzards Custom Cycle right off Corridor G.
