Grandview School

GRANDVIEW
GRADE SCHOOL was located on Rabel Mountain Road in the Alum Creek Area.
Built in 1911, it only housed an average of 13 students, and closed in
1950. ( There was another Grandview School later, in North
Charleston )

Upper Grapevine School was the second school on this road, the other being Lower Grapevine, both in Sissonville.
This school sat at the corner of Broadtree Run. Built in 1910, it averaged 44 kids.
