Summers Street Changes in the mid 80s Charleston's
revitalization not only included Capitol Street in the early 80s, but
but later Summers Street.
It hadn't been touched since the 40s and the city decided it was time for a change. All of the Bars and old businesses were removed to make way for new businesses including a large parking building and a Park, but this side of the street was where most of the changes occurred.
