THE NATION OF TAMARACK
(NOT)
Nation Of Tamarack Royal Palace
( It costs two million a year just to keep the doors open )
INTRODUCTION:
The Nation of Tamarack was formed slowly over
many years without vote
nor public input of any kind. This may explain why Kofi Annan has referred
to
this U.N. member as the body's "miracle child." To this very day,
nobody
actually knows how the nation came to power or what puppet regime is in
charge. All we know for a fact is that the nation seems to have unlimited
power.
Designed much like the Papal State of Vatican City, it continues to have its
own administrative officers who are answerable to no one, even while it exacts
(extorts?) additional revenues when needed from its surrounding neighbors.
The Nation of Tamarack has shown remarkable growth following its
initial charter to simply maintain the toll road known as the "West Virginia
Turnpike," now offering a complete line of handcrafted West Virginia
products,
entertainment options, and cutesy post cards, all at what is called a "bargain
price."
And don't forget those discount lunches courtesy of The Greenbrier.
What is next for the Nation of Tamarack? Some say eventual annexation of Raleigh
and Wyoming Counties in order to extend its dominion until it can charge upwards
of $20.00 per toll booth in order to start work on its own nuclear arsenal,
under the guise
currently used by the Iranian Revolutionary Government of "peaceful,
civilian uses."
Area - comparative:
slightly smaller than Estonia
Flag description:
7 horizontal stripes of red (top) alternating with white (bottom); there is
a blue rectangle in the upper

crescent and the star are
traditional symbols of expensive knick knacks that only people outside of
the country can afford; the
design was based on the flag of the US and is currently being recognized by
no one except Democrats.

Audit Says Tamarack
Costing WV Too Much
On Monday, a legislative interim
committee will hear details of the audit that
says Tamarack hasn't lived up to expectations and its benefits are questionable.
The audit cites the Beckley-based
arts and crafts showplace as a major reason
for the state Parkways, Economic Development and Tourism Authority's financial
problems.
The authority's operating costs have exceeded income for the past six years.
The audit says Tamarack has
cost the authority more than 27 (m) million dollars
over ten years, including the cost of its construction.
It continues to require more than two million dollars in support from the agency.
According to the report, Tamarack
does make money. However, when expenses and
bonds are
subtracted from the revenues, the business is $2 to 3 million in debt.
