LEVI GRADE SCHOOL (Negro) was located in West Rand WV. This area was called "Levi" at the time.
Built in 1910, this school had 36 kids. There were two Levi schools,  and the map below is the first one:

Mill Creek isn't too far north of the MeadowBrook Nursing Home.  Built in 1910, and housed 39 kids

Cross Lanes Side. Built in 1920, it supported an average of 39 kids.

Maplelawn - Dry Branch School

Maplelawn - Dry Branch School

DRY BRANCH-MAPLELAWN SCHOOL was built in 1938 on Dry Branch of Davis Creek.  In 1960, additions were
made and the school name changed from "Dry Branch School" to "Maplelawn School." You can still see the old school today, by going to Blizzards Custom Cycle right off Corridor G.
