GOLD DOME DRIVE IN
The Gold Dome drive in sat on Washington Street at the foot of the old Kanawha City Bridge. It was a favorite place for the average Joe and his family long before chain restaurants became popular. They specialized in good Hot Dogs and Barbeques. I spent many a night as a youngster in the Summer sitting in my moms car eating hot dogs and enjoying the interaction with the curb girls and others as they passed by.
